  1. What is Run2Health?
    Run2Health is a NJ based 5K running series created to raise awareness of healthy living choices and cancer prevention. The money raised will benefit the American Cancer Fund.
  2. When is the event?
    The dates of our races can be found on the Registration tab.
  3. How long is the event?
    We estimate the whole event to last about 4 hours including the 5K and a 1 Mile walk.
  4. How do I register children and are they free under a certain age?
    Children are registered the same way adults are registered. All children under 16, registered or not, are allowed to walk in the 1 Mile walk for free.
  5. What is included with registration fee?
    Registration includes a goody bag, bib and admittance to the race. If you register early you will receive a t-shirt and wristband.
  6. Are teams/groups allowed?
    Yes! Teams/groups are encouraged. You can sign up in teams of 3 for a discounted registration price.
  7. What is the American Cancer Fund?
    The American Cancer Fund® (ACF) is an organization dedicated to the education, support and empowerment of those diagnosed with Cancer by organizing and clarifying information. They elevate the level of understanding of Cancer. ACF provides free clear, independent information and research to enable patients and their families to make smarter choices for Cancer treatment with an emphasis on dignity, functionality and cure. They are a great cancer charity organization and we encourage you to help them out.
  8. What is the refund policy?
    There are no refunds. Should you decide not to race, your registration will be considered a donation to the American Cancer Fund.
  9.  What should I wear to the race?
    Wear anything that makes you comfortable. No nudity! Running shoes are advised. Feel free to be creative and run in costume especially for our themed races. Themed races coming soon.
  10. Is the event timed?
    Yes all events will be timed for USATF.
  11. Can I run with my dog?
    Sorry but your furry friends should stay at home. We don’t want to risk any allergic reactions.
  12. What happens afterwards?
    After the race, stick around for the medal ceremony and the 1 mile family walk.

  14. Is the event rain or shine?
    Yes the races are all rain or shine so prepare accordingly.
  15. Can I walk instead of run?
    Feel free to go at your own pace.
  16. Will there be separate races for children?
    No but children will have their own category to compete in.
  17. What happens if there is an injury?
    There will be emergency medical personnel on site at each race in the event of injury.
  18. Can I register the day of the event?
    Yes, you can fill out a paper registration form on race day but the price will be $35 on race day.

  20. Is there a clothing/bag check?
    We will have an area where you can leave bags and coats that will be watched over by our volunteers.
  21. Who is sponsoring the event?
    Please check out our Sponsor page and give business to our generous sponsors.
  22. Will there be vendors?
    There will be local business vendors at each location.
  23. Is there an area for spectators?
    Spectators can watch from anywhere along the course or in the areas near registration, vendors, the start or finish line.

    There will be a Results tab on this website that will lead you to the results following the races.
  26. Can I pay registration with a check?
    If you register on the day of the race, you can bring a check made out to the American Cancer Fund.
  27. How are awards and medals handled?
    Medals are given to top 3 finishers in each age category, male and female.Age groups 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, through to 85 and older!
